About Me

Dental Surgeon, graduated from the NATIONAL AUTONOMOUS UNIVERSITY OF MEXICO (UNAM), 1997-2003, which belongs to the select group of the 100 best universities in the world with more than 20 years of experience as a dentist and as an oral health promoter, she has studied the Specialty in Orthodontics at The Institute for the Development and Updating of Professionals, IDAP, Campus Monterrey.

Since she was studying dentistry at UNAM, she has promoted oral healthcare education for children and adults, to improve their quality of life.

In addition to having her private practice in the border city between the United States and Mexico in downtown Piedras Negras, Coahuila Mexico, she has promoted oral health and prevention of oral diseases in an altruistic way, giving countless talks, workshops and conferences ranging from brushing techniques, to the prevention of oral diseases in patients with different systemic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and other degenerative diseases in the most vulnerable sectors of our community. Likewise in Schools, Senior Citizen Centers, Social Readaptation Centers, Ejidos, Communities, and attended to people in street situations and in a state of vulnerability, as well as children and young people alike.

Dentist Salazar has been tirelessly promoting oral health and prevention of oral diseases among the neediest population for more than 20 years, distributing thousands of free toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwashes, medicines and other basic necessities to benefit those who need them most.

She was recognized in the Senate and the Honorable House of Representatives of Mexico in February 2024 as the best promoter of oral health in all of Mexico. Her work also earned her the recognition " Exemplary Woman 2024". She was also recognized for her work by Texas State Representative, Heriberto "Eddie" Morales Jr.
